The DT-A uses a specially designed leveling system that emphasizes overall stability of the system. The leveling system was developed through years of research with end-users. The result is a system that maintains stability even when used with applications where equipment is continually added and removed from the system or when equipment is moving across the top surface, such as translation stages.

The DT-M System does not require a constant air supply. The air supply to the isolation system is done manually, with a hand pump, which is included with the system. Leveling is accomplished by adjusting the three air valves conveniently located at the front of the system. The DT-M air suspension system is well-sealed, so the time required between refills or adjustment of the air supply is usually 3-4 weeks for a system that does not see continuously changing loads.
