VA-2 3 Axis Vibration Sensor
The VA-2 has a three orthogonal axis (x,y,z) accelerometer head combined with electronic stages of integration that enable not only the acceleration but also velocity and displacement to be measured.
A multiplexed output enables all three axes to be displayed simultaneously on an oscilloscope screen. This mode is extremely useful for getting an impression of the vibration modes present at a site. Often sources of severe vibrations can be quickly identified and steps taken to eliminate them the individual axis may be connected to an FFT analyzer for a detailed spectral analysis of the signals.

| *The low limits of sensitivity apply to all frequencies for acceleration and velocity, and above 20 Hz for displacement. Below 20 Hz for displacement the noise increases from 0.01 µm at 20 Hz to 0.1 µm at 2 Hz. |
