Herzan Performance Videos

BACKGROUND

AFM Probe being imaged using interferometry. The tip is suspended in air in order to measure the amount of noise reaching the probe. This video is taken measuring the quality of application under the following conditions: without vibration isolation; using an optical table; and using a Herzan TS-150 active vibration isolation table.

You can observe that the noise reaching the probe has almost been completely eliminated.

This is from a third floor lab at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, Materials Science Center.

BACKGROUND

This video is taken of the tip of a microinjector at an IVF clinic with a jackhammer running outside. The tip of the micropipette can be evaluated by measuring the in quality of application without vibration isolation enabled, with passive vibration isolation enabled and with active vibration isolation enabled. The active vibration isolation system used in this video is a Herzan TS-150.

BACKGROUND

This video shows the difference in noise levels experienced by a micropipette when used without acoustic/vibration isolation and when used with a Herzan TS-140 Active Vibration Isolation System with a NanoVault Acoustic Enclosure. The first part of the video depicts the micropipette without isolation; the second part depicts noise levels with the micropipette setup used with a TS Active Isolation System inside The NanoVault Enclosure.
