Instrument: Nikon Diaphot 300 with Narishige Micro-Manipulators

Details: The end user needed an isolation system to reduce the environmental vibrations affecting their micro-injection process. They chose the TS system based on the recommendation of a colleague. The TS immediately eliminated the troublesome vibrations. Months later, construction was being done on the building where the laboratory was housed. The construction required a jackhammer to be used on the ground floor outside of the lab. While the jackhammer was running, the end user was able to take video of the tip of the microinjector to characterize the vibrations it was experiencing. The two videos compare vibration levels with No Isolation (the TS system de-activated and locked down in shipping mode) and Herzan Active Isolation (the TS system activated).
